The world’s densest LED array, made denser
Kessil’s patented Dense Matrix LED technology packs multiple chips into a single compact array, producing a powerful, deeply penetrating beam with seamless color mixing across the entire coverage area. The XE takes this even further — a denser cluster means a more even beam profile and better blending of wavelengths, eliminating the color separation that plagues multi-chip competitors.

The optical system behind the Kessil shimmer is purpose-built to replicate the glitter lines of a metal halide fixture — the dynamic, moving light patterns that make a reef look like a living piece of the ocean. No flat-panel LED can match it.
Tuna Blue spectrum
The Tuna Blue blend — combining blue, violet, indigo, red and green channels — is tuned specifically for coral growth and fluorescence. Two on-board control knobs let you dial in color temperature and intensity directly on the fixture, from cool actinic to a warmer, more balanced daylight. Kessil Logic maintains consistent power output across the full tunable range, so what you set is what your coral receives.
Flicker-free dimming
Unlike many LED fixtures that strobe at low intensities, the A360XE features flicker-free dimming throughout the full range — better for fish behavior, better for coral health and easier on the eyes.
Flexible control options
The A360XE runs as a standalone fixture with its two on-board knobs, or connects to the Kessil WiFi Dongle for full app-based scheduling, weather effects and lunar cycle simulation on iOS and Android. Multiple units link together via K-Link cables, controlled by a single dongle while retaining individual channel control per light. The Spectral Controller X (sold separately) offers the same capability without an app or internet connection.
Compact, fanless, low maintenance
The shell-shaped housing uses an innovative passive thermal system — no fan means no noise and no moving parts to fail. At 4.3″ diameter and 2.1″ tall, it disappears above the tank while doing serious work below the surface.
