Description
The AquaReady Complete RO System is the straightforward, no-fuss way to start producing cleaner water at home. For fish keepers who want to stop relying on tap water but aren’t ready to commit to a full RO/DI setup, this system covers the essentials — removing particulate matter, chlorine and dissolved impurities through three stages of filtration and storing the result in a pressurized tank ready to dispense on demand.
Three stages of filtration
Stage 1 — Sediment Filter
A 5-micron sediment filter captures particulate matter from the incoming water supply — dirt, rust, sand and debris — before it can reach the RO membrane. This protective first stage extends membrane life and keeps downstream filtration efficient.
Stage 2 — Carbon Filter
A 5-micron carbon filter neutralises chlorine, chloramines and other chemical disinfectants in the water supply. Removing these before the RO membrane is essential — chlorine degrades membrane materials over time and reduces rejection efficiency.
Stage 3 — RO Membrane
The 75 GPD reverse osmosis membrane is the core of the system. Under household water pressure, purified water passes through the membrane while the vast majority of dissolved solids — heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminants — are flushed away in a separate waste stream. The result is significantly cleaner water than straight tap.
3.2-gallon pressurized storage tank
Unlike flow-through systems that only produce water when connected to a running tap, the AquaReady Complete RO ships with a 3.2-gallon pressurized storage tank. Filtered water accumulates in the tank between uses and is dispensed instantly through the included chrome faucet whenever you need it — no waiting for the membrane to produce water in real time.
Complete installation kit — everything included
The system ships with every component needed for a standard under-sink kitchen installation: chrome dispensing faucet and hardware, angle stop adapter, drain saddle, auto shut-off valve, check valve, T-connector, 1/4″ ball valve, garden hose adapter, and both white and blue 1/4″ tubing. For most standard kitchen setups, installation requires no specialist tools or plumbing knowledge.
The auto shut-off valve automatically stops water flow to the system once the storage tank is full, preventing waste and protecting the membrane from unnecessary run time.
Suitable for all pets and freshwater aquariums
Filtered water from this system is appropriate for freshwater aquariums, top-offs for saltwater tanks, and general pet use — fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and small mammals. For reef aquariums requiring 0 TDS water, a system with a DI resin stage is recommended as the next step up.
