The Radion XR15 G6 Pro is EcoTech Marine’s sixth-generation flagship reef light — and the one against which every other LED fixture is measured. Trusted by public aquariums, coral spawning laboratories and aquaculture facilities worldwide, it brings professional-grade performance to the home reef keeper.
Optics that changed the industry
The G6 introduces the Hybrid Hemispherically Edge Illuminating (HEI2) optical system — a complete redesign of the primary lens that pushes spread from 110.5° in the G5 to a remarkable 126.3°. The result is 35% more total output with 30% less hot-spot PAR directly under the fixture. Light that previously blasted the center of the tank is now redirected outward, producing incredibly even PAR across the entire aquarium floor and reaching the undersides of coral that older fixtures simply couldn’t touch.
A spectrum built for coral
The Pro model features a balanced, full-spectrum LED cluster — 50 diodes across 10 channel types — designed to replicate the output of metal halide lighting while going further into the UV range than any previous generation. The addition of 395nm diodes unlocks a new level of fluorescence in both coral and fish. The result is richer color, deeper pop and the kind of shimmer that makes a reef look alive.
Whisper-quiet cooling
A completely redesigned fan and evolved heatsink cool the G6 more efficiently than its predecessor, allowing the fan to run at lower speeds. The difference is immediately noticeable — this is the quietest Radion ever made.
Moonlight and weather simulation
Two dedicated low-output moonlight LEDs sit on independently controllable channels, allowing realistic lunar cycle simulation completely separate from the main lighting program. Combine this with Mobius weather and cloud simulation for a dynamic, natural environment your coral will respond to.
Full Mobius control
Every aspect of the XR15 G6 Pro is programmable through the free Mobius app on iOS and Android. Pre-loaded spectrum configurations — including the renowned SPS AB+ program — make setup fast even for first-time users. The fixture also integrates wirelessly with Neptune Systems Apex via MXM, bringing it into a fully automated reef ecosystem.
Backward compatible
All existing G5 mounting hardware, RMS arms, track systems and diffusers are compatible with the G6 — protecting your previous investment while upgrading your light output.
